The news...in short.

Muse is recording a new album.  First time in a bit that I said, "Ooooh...I like that idea."

The New Morrissey Greatest Hits album, Years of Refusal, will be released this fall.

Radiohead calls "bullshit" on Prince.

Slipknot will take part in the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, but the band wants you to know that it's "not a festival, it's a Slipknot tour."

Yahoo has listed their Top 25 Guitar Riffs.

Emmure talks shit about Endwell, Endwell fires back.  It all started with a tee shirt, mind you (which I found kinda hilarious, considering).  Moving on...

Zebrahead's new album, Phoenix, will be released July 9th in Japan and August 5th everywhere else.

Bleeding Through plan an August release for their new album, Declaration, and will be touring this summer with Bullet for My Valentine in support of said album.  I will be working some ginormous festival on Eastern Long Island the day they roll into NY, so someone please take notes for me.

And in "You're beating a dead fucking horse" news, panties are still bunching over this emo nonsense.  Really, get over it.  All of you.  It's ridiculous.

Discuss.

Homelessness steadily on the rise; hits the Middle Class.

"Barbara Harvey climbs into the back of her small Honda sport utility vehicle and snuggles with her two golden retrievers, her head nestled on a pillow propped against the driver's seat.

Californian Barbara Harvey says she is forced to sleep in her car with her dogs after losing her job earlier this year.

A former loan processor, the 67-year-old mother of three grown children said she never thought she'd spend her golden years sleeping in her car in a parking lot."

"This is my bed, my dogs," she said. "This is my life in this car right now."
